Best Luxury Fire Pits (Design, Material, Modern, Price Range)

two different views and photos of the best luxury fire pit Breeo product

Gathering around a luxurious fire pit is a great way to make special memories with your family and friends. Cheap fire pits, however, may cause damage to your patio and won’t make for a good time. This is why high-end fire pits are a worthy investment.

The best-designed luxury fire pit is the TIKI Brand Fire Pit. Its airflow technology keeps large flames burning. The heavy-gauge stainless steel material of the Breeo X Series 19 makes it stand out. The affordable Hampton Bay Piedmont Fire Pit and modern-looking Solo Stove are great choices, too.

Below, I will discuss my favorites according to design, material, price and what I think is the most modern. Are you ready to be the talk of the town at your next gathering by having only the best fire pit? Let’s get started!

Best Design: TIKI Brand Stainless Steel Smokeless Fire Pit

When coming up with my choice for best design, the TIKI Brand stands out due to its ability to produce beautiful flames while requiring minimal clean-up, making way for a genuinely luxurious fire pit experience.

Pros

  • Designed with an internal airflow system: The TIKI brand has made sure that its beautiful fire pits look just as good as the flames they produce. The TIKI fire pit’s internal airflow system ensures the flames are large and constantly burning. Additionally, the TIKI fire pit includes wood packs for rapid and predictable fires.
  • Good material makeup: The TIKI fire pit is made with heavy-gauge steel. Even the legs are made with powdered aluminum, so you know that this product was made with durability in mind.
  • Easy to clean up: Another good thing about TIKI fire pits is that they come with an ash pan which you can easily take out for easy clean up. You can easily remove the center cone and sweep the ash through the holes.

Cons

  • Prone to rusting: Sadly, the bottom of the TIKI fire pit rusts quite easily, so it’s not the most long-lasting option in the market. Fortunately, TIKI is easy to contact, and they’d be happy to give you a replacement if you ask.
  • Consumes a lot of wood: Many fire pit owners praise the TIKI fire pit for its size, but some complain that it’s too small for firewood. You will have to go through the trouble of watching over the fire and adjusting the wood’s position so it can fit.

Best Material: Breeo X Series 19 Smokeless Fire Pit

Breeo X Series 19 hits it out of the park by providing the best material makeup for a fire pit. It’s made of heavy-gauge stainless steel, which ensures its durability and corrosion resistance

Breeo has come out with two finishes for the product — stainless steel and corten steel — and both are resistant to corrosion.

Pros

  • Superior airflow technology: Breeo has incorporated the X Airflow technology on the Series 19. Since the air vent is raised near the bottom of the fire, oxygen can still flow and enable the fire to burn, even with clumps of ash near the base.
  • Walls provide consistent combustion: The walls of the Breeo Series 19 have a cavity that allows air to enter. This means there are two walls, one being the outer and the other being the heated inner. The heated inner wall warms the air causing it to rise and re-enter the fire pit through a hole in the inner wall, ensuring consistent combustion.
  • Corten steel ensures protection: The Corten variation of the Breeo Series 19 adds a patina layer on the fire pit walls and is actually a natural protective mechanism of the metal against rusting.

Cons

  • Generally quite heavy: Transporting a Breeo fire pit around your backyard will cause you to break a sweat, so this fire pit may not be for you if you need a more portable option.
  • May Not Be Smokeless: The Breeo Series 19 is constantly touted as a smokeless fire pit, but some complain that it’s not smokeless. You’ll need to carefully follow a set of instructions for a smokeless fire.

Lowest Price: Hampton Bay Piedmont Steel Fire Pit

When it comes to luxury fire pits, the Hampton Bay Piedmont stands out as the best low-price fire pit overall. This sleek-looking fire pit will surely delight your guests while not causing a big dent in your budget.

The price is only fair compared to its other more pricey competitors, and you can easily find discounted prices online.

Pros

  • Very easy to set up: The Piedmont fire pit has a grilling grate, a fire poker, and a screen to protect you against sparks. It also comes with a manual, nuts, and bolts to get the entire pit together. Even those not used to setting up outside appliances themselves can easily set up the Piedmont fire pit.
  • Included grate: Hampton Bay constantly advertises the grate as one of its unique features. This feature increases airflow to the pit, making your fires last longer. You won’t have to constantly adjust the wood to keep the fire burning.
  • Incredibly sleek appearance: One of my favorite things about the Piedmont fire pit is its sleek look. It can easily blend in through any backyard and is sure to earn your taste compliments.

Cons

  • Tends to rust: One problem with the Piedmont fire pit is that it does tend to rust quite quickly. Some complain that the grates are already rusting after exposure to rain. Many advise getting a cover for it to protect against rain and snow.
  • Spark screen is quite weak: For a high-quality product, many complain that the mesh tends to be lacking and may not protect you against sparks.

Most Modern: Solo Stove Bonfire Fire Pit

This futuristic firepit easily stands out as the best modern fire pit out there. It incorporates incredible airflow technology while not compromising on appearance. You can easily impress your friends with the Solo Stove Bonfire Fire Pit, both with how much it stands out and its plethora of features.

Pros

  • Walls maximize combustion: Much like the double-walled technology of the Breeo Series 19, you can expect a consistently powerful fire with the Solo Stove Bonfire’s design.
  • Does not require set-up: Unlike the Piedmont fire pit, which comes with a manual and parts, the Solo Stove does not require set-up at all! It’s compact and very portable too.
  • Superior airflow technology: Aside from the double-walled technology, the Solo Stove’s overall construction also allows cool air to enter from the bottom vents and onto the fire. There are also holes in the wall, which, along with the consistent cool air supply, ensures a constant, powerful burn.

Cons

  • Not as protective as other pits: The design of the Solo Stove fire pit makes its users prone to burns, especially if they’re careless. There are no non-conductive protectors to shield against the heat of the metal walls, so this might be something to consider if you have kids and pets.
  • Not as smokeless: Another issue with the Solo Stove is that it does not focus on eliminating smoke production. Other fire pit brands have more competent mechanisms to reduce smoke, and the Solo Stove’s smoke reduction feature does not seem to hold up.
